Robbie Williams postponed his wedding to actress Ayada Field after information about their plans leaked to the public.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Robbie and Ayda are desperate to marry and start a new domesticated life together.
“But when their first day, February 14, escaped into the public domain, Robbie hit the roof. He has played out his relationship with Ayda largely behind closed doors and wanted it to stay that way.
“They don’t want a huge showbiz wedding with glossy magazines in attendance and flashbulbs going off. So it is vitally important to both of them that it stays private with only a handful of people knowing where and when the event will be.”
The pair are now believed to be planning a new intimate ceremony for the end of the year.
